Design Research
One of my favorite pastimes in life is observing humans do human things and practicing acceptance through understanding. It's a curiosity that directly fuels my research practice, where I leverage mixed methodologies to design and execute deep usability studies.
When interacting with users, my goal is to uncover the authentic how and why without ever leading the witness. Once the data is in, I synthesize the findings into clear, accessible visual elements, turning complex data points into intuitive insights that any stakeholder can immediately understand.
My research toolkit includes:
-
Generative & Evaluative Research: Contextual inquiry (user interviews), conversation mining, and heuristic evaluations.
-
Information Architecture Testing: Card sorting and tree testing.
-
Quantitative & Experimental Design: Survey design, A/B testing, and comprehensive research briefs.
